Job Title: Signal Integrity Engineer
Location: Bac Ninh, Vietnam
Position Overview:
Our client is a global leader in designing and manufacturing high-performance interconnect systems for industries such as automotive, aerospace, industrial, and consumer electronics, with strong operations in Vietnam and other key hubs.
We are looking for a Signal Integrity Engineer to support the design, testing, and validation of high-performance and high-speed data transmission. This role focuses on ensuring optimal signal quality and compliance with industry standards through simulation, measurement, and collaboration with design and production teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Analyze and optimize signal integrity performance of interconnect systems.
Conduct simulations to evaluate impedance, insertion loss, return loss, crosstalk, and eye diagram characteristics.
Collaborate with R&D and manufacturing teams to improve product design for signal performance.
Perform lab measurements using tools such as VNA, TDR, and high-speed oscilloscopes.
Develop and maintain SI models for various cable and connector configurations.
Support customer-specific SI requirements and provide technical documentation.
Troubleshoot signal degradation issues and propose design or material improvements.
Work closely with quality and production teams to ensure consistency in signal performance across batches.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or related field.
- Experience in signal integrity analysis for interconnects, cables, or connectors.
- Proficiency in simulation tools (e.g., Ansys HFSS, CST, ADS, SIwave).
- Hands-on experience with lab equipment for SI testing (e.g., VNA, TDR).
- Strong understanding of transmission line theory and electromagnetic principles.
- Familiarity with high-speed standards and protocols.
