Job Title: Signal Integrity Engineer

Location: Bac Ninh, Vietnam

Position Overview:

Our client is a global leader in designing and manufacturing high-performance interconnect systems for industries such as automotive, aerospace, industrial, and consumer electronics, with strong operations in Vietnam and other key hubs.

We are looking for a Signal Integrity Engineer to support the design, testing, and validation of high-performance and high-speed data transmission. This role focuses on ensuring optimal signal quality and compliance with industry standards through simulation, measurement, and collaboration with design and production teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and optimize signal integrity performance of interconnect systems.

  • Conduct simulations to evaluate impedance, insertion loss, return loss, crosstalk, and eye diagram characteristics.

  • Collaborate with R&D and manufacturing teams to improve product design for signal performance.

  • Perform lab measurements using tools such as VNA, TDR, and high-speed oscilloscopes.

  • Develop and maintain SI models for various cable and connector configurations.

  • Support customer-specific SI requirements and provide technical documentation.

  • Troubleshoot signal degradation issues and propose design or material improvements.

  • Work closely with quality and production teams to ensure consistency in signal performance across batches.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or related field.
  • Experience in signal integrity analysis for interconnects, cables, or connectors.
  • Proficiency in simulation tools (e.g., Ansys HFSS, CST, ADS, SIwave).
  • Hands-on experience with lab equipment for SI testing (e.g., VNA, TDR).
  • Strong understanding of transmission line theory and electromagnetic principles.
  • Familiarity with high-speed standards and protocols.
