JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Take on the responsibility of advocating and supporting Scrum, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of Scrum theory, practices, principles, and values among team members.
• Ensure the seamless operation of the Scrum process, focusing on its effectiveness and adherence to principles.
• Guide and coach, the team on implementing Scrum practices and values to enhance customer satisfaction.
• Collaborate closely with developers and the Product Owner to instill an Agile culture within the team.
• Coach the Scrum team in fostering self-organization, identifying areas for improvement in Agile processes or skills.
• Collaborate with the Product Owner in managing the product backlog.
• Lead and facilitate Scrum events and other necessary meetings, such as product backlog refinement, sprint planning, daily Scrum, sprint review, and sprint retrospective.
• Promote a cooperative work environment, emphasizing discussions, decision-making, and conflict resolution.
• Remove impediments or guide the team in removing obstacles hindering progress.
• Offer unwavering support to the team, employing a servant leadership style whenever possible.
• Assist the Scrum team in advancing its level of Scrum maturity.
• Foster a trusting and secure environment where issues can be raised without fear of blame, retribution, or judgment.
• Contribute to the creation of a productive atmosphere where team members take ownership of the product and find joy in their work.
• Assist the Scrum team in achieving the Sprint Goal for each sprint and delivering the Increment with the Definition of Done.
• Motivate and encourage continuous improvement within the Scrum team.
• Pay close attention to the daily motivation of team members, addressing any low motivation promptly.
• Collaborate with other Scrum Masters to enhance the overall effectiveness of implementing Scrum within the organization.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Proven track record of serving as a Scrum Master for a software development team committed to diligently applying Scrum principles, practices, and theory.
• Possess excellent proficiency in Scrum techniques and artifacts.
• Demonstrates highly effective spoken and written English skills.
• Deep technical knowledge of the software development process, encompassing design, development, testing, and deployment.
• Exhibits strong communication, collaboration, leadership, conflict resolution, and time management skills.
• Possesses applicable knowledge of the technologies utilized by the team.
• Applies analytical skills to effectively solve problems and eliminate impediments.
• Demonstrates robust interpersonal skills, including mentoring, coaching, collaboration, and team building.
