Responsibilities
Design and program new features for network devices such as GPON/EGPON ONT, Gateway Wi-Fi 802.11ac/ax, and device drivers.
Design, develop, and troubleshoot software errors in network protocols (Layer 2/Layer 3).
Develop gateway functionality, ensuring flexibility across various aspects without being restricted to specific functions.
Develop and debug software to address customer-reported issues.
Provide remote support to resolve international customer issues.
Requirements
B.Sc./M.S. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
Strong experience in C/C++ development for embedded Linux.
Extensive knowledge of IP networking with hands-on experience.
Proficiency in C/C++, TCP/IP, networking, JavaScript, and Shell scripting.
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Preferred Experience:
Experience in ONT management development (SNMP, TR-69, configuration files, etc.).
Hands-on experience in GPON OLT/ONT and EPON ONT development.
Expertise in GPON OMCI analysis, development, and porting based on ITU-T G.984.3/G.984.4/G.988 standards.
Knowledge of Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n/ac/ax and other wireless protocols.
Experience in WLAN software development, including driver development, firmware, and system-level integration.
Familiarity with gateway products .
Experience with OLT and IOP compatibility testing.
