A fast-growing technology organization that partners with Japanese clients to deliver high‑quality web applications and enterprise systems. We are seeking a Bridge Engineer who will act as the conduit between customers and the offshore engineering team—owning requirements, design documentation, and day‑to‑day project coordination to ensure on‑time, high‑quality delivery.
Job Responsibilities
- Work directly with Japanese stakeholders to clarify business and technical requirements and align on priorities and scope.
- Translate business needs and quality standards into clear specifications for the offshore development team.
- Build project plans, track progress, and manage risks and issues to meet delivery timelines.
- Create and maintain design documentation (e.g., basic and detailed design).
Support product development for customer management systems; participate in coding and testing when needed
Job Requirements
- Japanese language proficiency at N2 or higher.
- 3+ years of experience as a Bridge Engineer, Project Leader, or Project Manager.
- Hands‑on experience with web application development and the Scrum/Agile process.
Proficiency with Java or PHP; strong requirement analysis and communication skills.
- High sense of responsibility, strong teamwork spirit, and continuous learning mindset—including interest in AI technologies and use of AI tools to enhance productivity.
