Job Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security systems (SIEM, IDS/IPS, firewalls) to detect threats and vulnerabilities.
- Respond to security incidents, investigate root causes, and implement containment and recovery measures.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and coordinate remediation with IT teams.
- Provide security awareness training and promote best practices across the organization.
- Monitor threat intelligence sources to enhance threat detection and response capabilities.
- Support the development and enforcement of security policies, procedures, and compliance standards.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in IT-related fields; relevant certifications (e.g., CEH, Security+, OWASP) are a plus.
- Proven experience in cybersecurity with strong understanding of security principles, tools, and best practices.
- Hands-on expertise with SIEM (e.g., Azure Sentinel), firewalls (e.g., FortiGate), EDR (e.g., CrowdStrike, Defender XDR).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills; able to explain technical issues to non-technical users.
- Familiarity with security frameworks (ISO27001, CIS, COBIT) and a strong commitment to continuous learning.
