Company Overview

A valued client in the logistics sector is seeking a Chief of Accounting to join their Ho Chi Minh City office.

Job Description

• Ensure all accounting activities comply with local regulations and internal financial policies.

• Oversee accurate and timely preparation of financial, tax, and management reports for internal and external stakeholders.

• Monitor, reconcile, and review all tax-related matters including VAT, withholding tax, and corporate income tax.

• Manage transfer pricing documentation and maintain proactive communication with tax authorities to confirm annual obligations.

• Provide consultancy on accounting and tax regulations, support audits, and assist with financial report preparation.

• Review contracts, consolidate accounting documents, and ensure proper filing and record maintenance.

• Support the setup and management of internal accounting systems, controls, and standard operating procedures.

• Supervise and train accounting staff to maintain a high level of performance and compliance.

Job requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting or financial management; experience in the logistics industry is an advantage.

• Strong knowledge of accounting standards, financial reporting, and tax regulations.

• High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and strong analytical skills.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and accounting software.

• Strong coordination, communication, and leadership skills.

• Self-motivated, proactive, and capable of managing multiple priorities.

• Fluent in English or Japanese.
