A valued client in the logistics sector is seeking a Chief of Accounting to join their Ho Chi Minh City office.
Job Description
Ensure all accounting activities comply with local regulations and internal financial policies.
Oversee accurate and timely preparation of financial, tax, and management reports for internal and external stakeholders.
Monitor, reconcile, and review all tax-related matters including VAT, withholding tax, and corporate income tax.
Manage transfer pricing documentation and maintain proactive communication with tax authorities to confirm annual obligations.
Provide consultancy on accounting and tax regulations, support audits, and assist with financial report preparation.
Review contracts, consolidate accounting documents, and ensure proper filing and record maintenance.
Support the setup and management of internal accounting systems, controls, and standard operating procedures.
Supervise and train accounting staff to maintain a high level of performance and compliance.
Job requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting or financial management; experience in the logistics industry is an advantage.
Strong knowledge of accounting standards, financial reporting, and tax regulations.
High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and strong analytical skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and accounting software.
Strong coordination, communication, and leadership skills.
Self-motivated, proactive, and capable of managing multiple priorities.
Fluent in English or Japanese.
