Job Responsibilities
  • Analyze and clarify customer requirements.
  • Communicate specifications to the development team; discuss and propose solutions to ensure customer goals are met.
  • Manage technical solutions and project team outputs.
  • Report on and manage the project team's progress.
  • Directly manage a team of 20-30 members (for one large project or multiple smaller projects).
  • Participate in training BrSEs and PMs within the department and the company.
 
Job Requirements
  • Language: Japanese proficiency level N2 or higher.
  • Experience: Minimum of 7 years of experience in project management for Japanese outsource clients. Experience managing teams of 20 or more people.
  • Technical Skills: Deep technical understanding with experience managing diverse projects: Web Apps, Native Apps, Mobile Games, $AI$, etc.
  • Solid knowledge of software development models: Waterfall, V-Model, and Agile.
  • Strong logical and systemic analysis skills with the ability to propose improvements.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Holding certifications such as PMP, PMI-ACP, CSM, or PSM is an advantage.
  • Prior experience living in Japan is a plus.
