Job Description
Develop dedicated embedded software to control multifunction printers and related optional devices.
Conduct debugging and evaluation using actual hardware devices and software simulators.
Coordinate closely with external business partners, acting as a bridge engineer between teams.
Understand and clarify technical requirements through communication conducted in Japanese.
Report development progress clearly and consistently to stakeholders.
Explain specifications, design intent, and response plans to business partners to ensure product quality.
Provide accurate translation and communication that respects local official languages and cultural practices.
Job Requirements
Experience in software development using any programming language, or experience participating in projects as a bridge software engineer.
Development experience in C or C++.
Experience with embedded software development.
Experience creating specifications or requirements documents in Japanese.
Experience working in Windows and Linux development environments.
Japanese language proficiency at N2 level or above, with strong speaking, listening, and writing skills.
English language proficiency with the ability to speak, listen, and write effectively.
Strong communication skills and a cooperative approach to working with colleagues and supervisors.
Interest in long-term professional growth and commitment within the organization.
Bachelor’s degree in a computer science-related field or equivalent practical experience.
Relevant technical certifications.
