Foreign company is looking for Mechanical Design Engineer (for Water and Wastewater treatment system) to join their dynamic team in Ho Chi Minh.
Job Responsibilities
- Develop the Planning and Detailed design drawing work for global water treatment plants.
- Build 3D models for water treatment plant using AutoCAD 2D, Plant3D, and other avanced tools.
Create 2D drawings for construction, including GA and Isometric drawings, Structure/Frame fabrication drawings.
- Ensure all designs strictly comply with project specifications, P&IDs, layouts and company's engineering standards.
- Perform final quality checks on all design outputs to ensure accuracy before submission.
- Lead project schedules, mentor team members, and manage outsourced engineering work.
- Collaborate with the CAD Admin team to standardize design workflows, enhancing efficiency and reducing manual tasks.
Job Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in chemical, Mechanical, Environmental or Biological Engineering.
Over 4 years of of practical experience in piping design.
Deep expertise in piping design and routing.
- High proficiency in piping design software such as AutoCAD 2D, Plant3D, E3D, PDMS.
- Knowledge of international piping standards (JIS, ASME, etc.).
- Proficient in English (written and verbal).
Familiarity with MS Office applications.
Independent and teamwork capabilities.
Committed to delivering high-quality work and contributing to the company's success.
Highly motivated and possesses a strong desire to learn.
Preferred- Experience in CAD administration or structure design.
- Experience with water treatment projects is highly valued.
- Proficiency in Japanese or Chinese is a plus.
