Key Responsibilities:
Plan and execute IT projects, including both software and hardware, to support our BNPL business expansion.
Manage and oversee the IT team, including skill development, performance evaluation, and new staff recruitment.
Work closely with other departments to understand technological needs and develop appropriate solutions.
Ensure cybersecurity and data protection for the company.
Manage the IT budget and ensure technology investments yield the highest returns.
Job Requirements:
Relevant degrees in information technology.
Over 3 years of experience as Head of IT
More than 7 years of experience in the relevant industry
Strategic thinking skills, with the ability to combine technical and business perspectives to translate business needs into IT solutions.
Strong leadership and communication skills, capable of leading a team, and effectively communicating with other departments and stakeholders.
Manage and provide direction for the application development team in support of business operations.
Provide technical leadership to project managers and programmers working on development project teams.
Have systems architecture ownership experience, particularly for a financial company and keen insights regarding technology and business trends
Good project management skills and/or substantial exposure to project-based work structures, project lifecycle models, etc.
Plan and manage IT budgets, encompassing both CAPEX and OPEX.
Expand expertise in IT infrastructure and operations
Experience in managing IT projects and a broad understanding of modern technologies.
Ability to assess and implement new technology solutions.
Experience working in a multicultural environment and business English communication skills.
Advantages:
Experience in a similar industry such as Financial and Fintech industries or understanding of BNPL industry.
IT industry certifications such as PMP, ITIL, or security certifications.
