Key Responsibilities
Architect and implement cloud infrastructure to support dozens of microservices (compute, storage, networking, identity, observability, etc.).
Operate and optimize Kubernetes clusters, CI/CD pipelines, GitOps workflows, service mesh, secrets management, and autoscaling.
Build centralized monitoring, alerting, and logging systems using tools like Cloud Logging, Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, ELK, Datadog.
Automate infrastructure lifecycle using tools such as Terraform, Helm, Ansible, DroneCI, or equivalents.
Ensure scalability, security, stability, and performance across the cloud platform.
Collaborate closely with DevOps, Security, Database, Networking, and Product Development teams.
Required Qualifications
Minimum 3 years of experience managing cloud infrastructure (GCP, AWS, Azure, or Oracle Cloud Infrastructure).
Strong knowledge of networking (VPC, DNS, Load Balancer), IAM, autoscaling, HA/DR, and cost optimization.
Hands-on experience with Kubernetes: cluster setup, upgrades, CNI, PVC, monitoring, etc.
Proficiency with tools like Terraform, Helm, Docker, GitLab CI/GitHub Actions, DroneCI, Buildpacks.
Deep understanding of Linux systems (kernel, cgroups, CLI).
Experience in incident response, log debugging, tracing, and performance tuning.
Scripting skills in Bash or Go.
Strong analytical thinking and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience implementing GitOps (DroneCI, Kustomize).
Familiarity with service mesh technologies (Envoy, Ingress Nginx, Istio).
Experience with cloud-native observability stacks (OpenTelemetry, Loki, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK).
Exposure to high-speed CI/CD environments (hundreds of deployments per day).
Cloud certifications (CKA, CKAD, AWS/GCP/Azure Professional).
Understanding of software architecture and experience debugging Java applications.
Mentoring or internal training experience.
