QC Engineer (Mechanical)

COMPANY OVERVIEW
Foreign engineering company is looking for QC Engineer to work at their construction site in Khanh Hoa Province

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Control inspection and witness point for equipment installation, alignment, and levelling in accordance with the relevant ITP collaborating construction teams of company and the erection subcontractors with deep understanding and interpretation of all relevant quality documents.
• Support company construction teams’ effective implementation of all tests and inspections in accordance with the relevant ITP and ensure adherence to all procedures.
• Be responsible for perform boiler walk-down inspection and generate punch-listing operations.
• Witness the tests, controls, and inspections.
• Guarantee inspection status control for parts within the area of responsibility, authorizing their acceptance at quality control completion.
• Obtain the relevant documentation and ensure the correct implementation of the approved ITP according to owner’s requirements.
• Ensure that the erection contractor issues and registers all necessary inspection and test records and calibration records.
• Report to QC Manager, control, and monitor all activities related to quality.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Have a bachelor’s degree or an associate degree in welding engineering or mechanical engineer with holding welding international inspection certificates.
• Having minimum five years of experience in QA/QC in power plant industry especially boiler pressure part and piping.
• Experience in test package preparation and final handover documentation activities.
• Experience in quality management system and close-out of inspection and audit non-conformities.
• Familiar with ASME codes for welding, NDE, PWHT, boiler pressure and external piping.
• Familiar with inspection works at site.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and computer skills
• Fluent in English skills
