[JAPANESE speakers welcome] IT General Manager for a NEWly established company (Product) in Vietnam

Newly established IT Company in Vietnam (Internal Product, not Outsourcing)

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

1. IT expertise/Strategy:

• Spearhead the launch and leadership of the new Vietnam IT office.
• Collaborate with CEO and headquarters to define the office's vision and operational strategies.

2. Team management & Development:

• Build a strong company culture and monitor employee performance.
• Ensure the development of team members and achieve organizational goals.
• Manage the full employee lifecycle (recruitment, onboarding, training, performance management, retention).
• Ensure compliance with all relevant Vietnamese business regulations.
• Reporting:
• Prepare regular reports for both Vietnamese and Japanese upper manager

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Have a bachelors or master's degree in Business Administration, Technology or other tech industry
• Have prior experience in general management within IT or other tech industry
• Have direct programming experience
• Have strong Japanese language skills (At least JLPT N2)
• Prior working experience in Japanese firm, startup companies is preferrable
• Having basic English communication skill is a plus.

• Salary: $3000-5000 (Gross), negotiable, depending on current salary and candidate ability/potentials
• Bonus: twice a year
• Working time: 8am - 5pm (Flexible working time, Moday to Friday)
