JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Market knowledge: combines a thorough understanding of the market, the competitors, and user needs with the underlying product segment strategy to suggest new goods or product improvements.
  • Analysis of new technologies: Considers the organization's strengths and capabilities, production capability, quality, costs, and market demands while assessing the viability of new technological product concepts. assumes the initiative and starts implementing technical changes for a variety of products or a particular feature set.
  • Business Planning: Plans strategies, including product pricing and life cycle management, for a line or range of products within the context of the product division plan. regulates the business plan's creation. decides whether to "Create or Purchase" product components in collaboration with the relevant departments.
  • Management of the lifecycle: In the framework of the underlying product segment strategy, defines a "go to market" concept and develops life cycle management for a product line or range. Provides the required service operations and inventory management.
  • Specifying the Product Requirements: outlines the specifications for a line or range of comprehensive products, including the features, time to market, costs, pricing, and profit. Develop items in accordance with the product line strategy.
  • Pre-sales assistance: designing and creating/customizing a Minimal Viable Product (MVP), POC solutions, and supporting pre-sales activities as necessary
  • Collaboration across functional lines: to ensure effective product development and introduction to the market, coordinates a variety of responsibilities, including development and quality assurance, engineering, production, legal, finance, marketing, and sales.
  • Documentation: prepares product information and descriptions for offering, production, logistics, and lifecycle management.
  • Assistance for sales and marketing: assembles product presentations with product marketing for clients and occasions, such as important user group meetings. Contributes to the creation of advertising materials for events and customer-facing product presentations. Assist and, if needed, take the lead in training for sales enablement. In order to inform business growth and sales efforts, support competitive benchmarking operations.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • Minimum 10 years of retail industry experience, including knowledge of various market segments, retailers, basic retail procedures, consumer trends, and ICT solutions and services.
  • Product/offering development experience of at least five years;
  • Work experience in a multi-client business
  • SAFe knowledge
  • Interest in innovation and digital technologies
  • Excellent documentation skills
  • Strong command of written and spoken English
  • Some experience working in and with different regions, such as ASEAN and APAC
  • Comfortable working in a highly fluid environment where conventional approaches don't apply.
  • Commercial awareness and strong numerical ability
  • Adherence to Offering Life Cycle Management Process.
