Job Title: Automation Engineering Manager

Location: Bac Ninh, Vietnam

Position Overview:

Our client is a global leader in designing and manufacturing high-performance interconnect systems for industries such as automotive, aerospace, industrial, and consumer electronics, with strong operations in Vietnam and other key hubs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the automation engineering team to develop, implement, and optimize automated manufacturing systems and processes.

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives through automation to enhance productivity, quality, and cost-efficiency.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including production, quality, and maintenance to ensure seamless integration of automation solutions.

• Oversee the design, programming, and commissioning of automation equipment including PLCs, robotics, and vision systems.

• Ensure compliance with safety standards and engineering best practices in all automation projects.

• Support new product introductions and engineering changes from an automation perspective.

• Manage vendor relationships and evaluate new technologies for potential implementation.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Automation Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field.

• Minimum 5 years of experience in automation engineering within a manufacturing environment, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.

• Strong knowledge of industrial automation systems, PLC programming, robotics, and HMI/SCADA systems.

• Proven track record in project management and cross-functional collaboration.

• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

• English proficiency required.
