Job Title: Signal Integrity (SI) Tester
Reports To: SI Manager
Location: Bac Ninh
Job Summary:
The SI Tester is responsible for executing signal integrity testing and measurement activities for high-speed interconnect products. This role involves hands-on testing, data analysis, and lab maintenance to ensure product performance meets design and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Testing & Evaluation
Perform signal integrity tests using frequency-domain and time-domain methods (e.g., S-parameters, TDR).
Operate and calibrate test equipment such as Vector Network Analyzers (VNA), oscilloscopes, and other RF/digital test tools.
Conduct prototype evaluations and component assembly for testing purposes.
Analyze test data and generate detailed reports for engineering review.
Documentation & Data Management
Maintain accurate and organized test records on the company network.
Document test setups, procedures, and results in accordance with internal standards.
Support root cause analysis and troubleshooting based on test outcomes.
Lab Organization & Equipment Maintenance
Ensure the test lab is well-organized, clean, and compliant with safety standards.
Monitor and maintain calibration schedules for test equipment.
Assist in inventory management of lab tools and components.
Qualifications:
Education
Junior college diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Telecommunications, or related field.
Experience
Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in signal integrity testing or RF/digital component testing.
Proficient in using VNA and other high-speed signal testing equipment.
Familiarity with testing cables and connectors for high-speed applications is preferred.
Skills & Competencies
Strong understanding of signal integrity principles and measurement techniques.
Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
Good organizational and documentation skills.
Team-oriented with effective communication abilities.
Additional Information:
This role may require occasional overtime or weekend work depending on project timelines.
Training will be provided for specific tools and procedures as needed.
