A Japanese restaurant is looking for a Supervisor/Store Manager to oversee their daily operations in Da Nang.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Management and supervision for the smooth operations. Store work (customer service, cooking, OJT for employees)
- Employee management (creating schedules for about 10 people)
- Communication with other staff
- Recruitment
- Training
- Management and supervision of product quality
- Regular product checks, suggestions and guidance for improvement
- Appropriate food management
- Customer service, service management and supervision
- Handling customer complaints and problem solving
- Communication with suppliers (order, delivery, negotiation)
- Communication with external parties (accounting, government, banks, landlords, etc.)
- Preparation and submission of required documents
- Conduct meetings as necessary
- Store cash management
- Manage cost issues, inventory table, prepare and submit reports
- Communication with the Japanese side (reporting, addressing issues and proposing improvement)
- Business trip to the Japanese headquarters (about once a year)
- At least 1 year of experience as Restaurant Manager or similar role
- English communication skills (TOEIC score of 600 or higher)
- Interested in Japan or Japanese food
- Basic Excel and Word skills, communication skills
- Management experience, leadership skills
- Working hours: Shift work (9:30-18:30, 12:30-21:30) 1 hour break, 6 days/week
- Annual leave: 12 days
