Job Title: Industrial Engineering Manager

Position Overview:
Our client is a global leader in designing and manufacturing high-performance interconnect systems for industries such as automotive, aerospace, industrial, and consumer electronics, with strong operations in Vietnam and other key hubs.
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Industrial Engineering Manager to lead the industrial engineering team at a manufacturing facility in Bac Ninh, focusing on process optimization, productivity improvement, and lean manufacturing initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Production & Process Optimization
Analyze and improve manufacturing processes to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and optimize resource utilization.
Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen methodologies.
Resolve production bottlenecks and implement corrective actions to ensure smooth operations.
Support capacity planning and layout optimization for production lines.
Tooling & Equipment Efficiency
Collaborate with mechanical and automation teams to ensure tooling and equipment meet industrial engineering standards.
Evaluate and improve equipment performance metrics such as OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness).
Participate in the development and integration of automation solutions to streamline operations.
Team Leadership & Cross-functional Collaboration
Lead and mentor a team of industrial engineers and technicians.
Work closely with departments including Production, Quality, R&D, and Supply Chain to drive operational excellence.
Coordinate with global engineering teams to align local practices with corporate standards.
Quality, Compliance & Data Analysis
Ensure industrial engineering practices comply with industry standards and customer requirements.
Conduct time studies, method studies, and root cause analysis for process-related issues.
Utilize data analytics to support decision-making and continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Industrial Engineering or related field.
Proven experience in process engineering, lean manufacturing, and production optimization.
Familiarity with automation systems and industrial equipment.
Proficiency in analytical tools and software (e.g., Excel, Power BI, AutoCAD).
Strong documentation and reporting skills in English.
Experience in connector or cable assembly manufacturing is a plus.
