JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Strategies:
  • Develop and set up strategic roadmap for Vietnam Industrial Engineering in terms of concepts, organization and people development in alignment with Industrial Engineering AP to support business strategies and Vietnam operation strategies. Lead all related sub-functions to take actions in order to achieve the strategic initiatives.
2. Target and Planning:
  • Perform budgeting and planning for the Industrial Engineering based on the consolidations of all sub functions to ensure the synergies and full utilization of the resources in the department. Strive for further approval of budgeting, mid-term and long-term planning.
  • Set up clear KPI targets and cascade down to all direct reporting sub functions, monitor and track the achievements of KPIs.
  • Evaluate current manufacturing practices and identify those needing improvement, also manage production schedule & coordinate service to maximize productivity.
  • Build up digitalization, automation and 6 sigma projects to reduce HCs, improve cost and quality.
3. Functions Management:
  • Lead all functions to establish the operational excellence and build up required qualifications, in order to provide satisfying services for Vietnam Plant Industrial Engineering.
4. Employee Management & Development:
  • Mentor, develop and motivate the direct reports, review and provide timely performance feedback.
  • Create individual development plan (competence and career development) for direct reports, coach them to get onto a higher level of competences, to prepare qualified leaders for the company.
  • Create and follow up on succession planning as a long-term preparation for the company development.
5. E&S:
  • Responsible for implementing, maintaining & improving the EMAS in compliance with ISO 14001:2004, OHSAS 18001 & other requirements (Company Group, customers, authority).
  • Support and coordinate the necessary resources to establish, implement, maintain and improve the EMAS.

  • Required Education & Experience:
  • University degree or above in Engineering field with fluent English.
  • At least 5 years related working experience, including managerial position experiences.
  • Broad and extensive operation management experiences, including setting up new production facilities.
  • Preferential background of working experiences in Automotive industry (OEMs / Auto Parts) or Industrial Manufacturing industry.
