COMPANY OVERVIEW
A Japanese real estate company is consulting, brokerage, real estate auction, land use right auction is looking for Architect Assistant Manager/ Manager.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Receive work from Line Manager, implement and complete the tasks within planned schedule with quality.
• Advise and assist Line Manager on architectural design documents.
• Report regularly, periodically and irregularly at the request of the Direct Manager on the situation and results of the work in charge.
• Participate in concept design, architectural design, basic design, technical and construction design stage Review to review and improve the project design.
• Giving ideas with JV partner in order to create things that can attract customer such as iconic design, attractive amenities, nice landscape.
• Check and review the design documents to ensure the correct implementation of the approved ideas, and to ensure conformity of approved technical design documents and construction drawing designs against regulations and standards.
• Communicate with Japanese and design companies and monitor and report design phases progress (from concept design).
• Controlling costs of design through selecting appropriate materials and construction method for Vietnamese market.
• Prepare periodic reports and emergent reports at the request of the Leaders and reporting to the superiors for approval of design guidelines of architectural items of the assigned projects.
• Manage design progress, coordinate with design consultants to ensure the quality of the drawings and the implementation plan according to the requirements of project leaders and project schedule.
• Manage the Architectural Design and coordinate with other disciplines such as Structure, MEP and Infrastructure to suit the overall schedule of the project.
• Communicate well with JV partner’s design team in Vietnamese and understand their intention.
• Fully understand company’s intention and proposals, review and comment on company’s proposal feasibility in Vietnam and then explain it to the JV partner in Vietnamese.
• Periodically inspect the construction site, supervise the copyright, control the actual status of the design documents, the actual construction matches the approved documents.
• Control content of design documents compared to the design tasks, the application of design regulations and standards as prescribed.
• Arranging needed information into well- organized documents, to accumulate company's understanding.
• Interpret conversation between Vietnamese and English during meetings, take meeting minutes and translate documents from Vietnamese to English.
• Work in Hanoi, but business trips to HCMC or Hai Phong, 0-2 times per month.
• Other relevant tasks on request.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

•  Degree in Architecture/Planning (Hanoi University of Civil Engineering, or Hanoi Architectural University are preferable).
•  5-10 years of experience working for developers or design consultants.
• Experience in residential projects (Villas, Townhouse, condominiums) will be preferable.
• Strong understanding of construction standards and other relevant laws (Condominium law, Fire Fighting law, etc.) is a plus.
• General knowledge of other disciplines: structure, MEP will be preferable.
• MS office such as Word, Excel, Power point and Outlook.
• Design soft wares such as Sketchup, Auto Cad, Photoshop and Illustrator.
• High proficiency in speaking and writing English.
• Able to work under pressure, have good ability to work independently and in a team.
• Good at communication, listening, persuasion, negotiation, conflict resolution, diplomacy and behavioral skills.
• Ownership of assigned tasks, cooperative, flexible, keen to learn new areas.
