Senior Executive

COMPANY OVERVIEW
JAC’s client is a reputable Japanese Corporation in Transportation that is looking for a Senior Executive.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• On behalf of the Manager, to ensure coordination of the teams responsible for the delivery and return of shipments, including but not limited to staff involved in third-party logistics; freight, bill and payment; freight forwarding; subcontractor/partner management.
• To receive inquiries from agents and customers and assign jobs to teams.
• To provide daily oversight of the sea/air/sales team, determining daily action plans and resolution of outstanding issues.
• To help identify special or reoccurring delivery problems and works with Manager to devise timely and cost-effective solutions.
• According to the manager’s decision and direction, conduct periodic reviews of freight-forwarding practices and results, and proposed alternatives.
• To perform other duties as required

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum 6 years of freight forward and logistics management experience in forwarding management.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and concisely both orally and in writing, and lead presentations, training courses, and effective meetings.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• MS Office and English fluency are required.
