Job Title: Production Manager
Location: Bac Ninh, Vietnam
Position Overview:
Our client is a global leader in designing and manufacturing high-performance interconnect systems for industries like automotive, aerospace, industrial, and consumer electronics, with strong operations in Vietnam and other key hubs.
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Production Manager to lead the engineering team at a manufacturing facility in Bac Ninh.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage production teams to meet daily, weekly, and monthly output targets.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements (e.g., ISO, IPC).
- Monitor and improve production KPIs including yield, throughput, downtime, and efficiency.
- Collaborate with engineering, quality, and supply chain teams to resolve production issues and implement process improvements.
- Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) and training programs for production staff.
- Manage labor resources, shift planning, and equipment utilization to optimize productivity.
- Drive Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Oversee inventory control and material flow to ensure timely availability of components.
- Support new product introductions (NPI) and ramp-up activities in coordination with R&D and project teams.
- Prepare and present production reports to senior management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial Management, or related field.
- Minimum 5–8 years of experience in electronics manufacturing, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
- Strong understanding of SMT, PCBA, assembly processes, and electronics production technologies.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage cross-functional teams.
- Experience with ERP systems, production planning tools, and data analytics.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
- Certifications in Lean, Six Sigma, or PMP are a plus.
Preferred Attributes:
- Experience working in a multinational or American corporate environment.
- Familiarity with compliance standards such as RoHS, REACH, and UL.
Ability to thrive in a dynamic, high-volume manufacturing setting.
