Job Title: Production Manager
Location: Bac Ninh, Vietnam
Position Overview:
Our client is a global leader in designing and manufacturing high-performance interconnect systems for industries like automotive, aerospace, industrial, and consumer electronics, with strong operations in Vietnam and other key hubs.
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Production Manager to lead the engineering team at a manufacturing facility in Bac Ninh.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage production teams to meet daily, weekly, and monthly output targets.
Ensure compliance with quality standards, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements (e.g., ISO, IPC).
Monitor and improve production KPIs including yield, throughput, downtime, and efficiency.
Collaborate with engineering, quality, and supply chain teams to resolve production issues and implement process improvements.
Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) and training programs for production staff.
Manage labor resources, shift planning, and equipment utilization to optimize productivity.
Drive Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Oversee inventory control and material flow to ensure timely availability of components.
Support new product introductions (NPI) and ramp-up activities in coordination with R&D and project teams.
Prepare and present production reports to senior management.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial Management, or related field.
Minimum 5–8 years of experience in electronics manufacturing, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
Strong understanding of SMT, PCBA, assembly processes, and electronics production technologies.
Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage cross-functional teams.
Experience with ERP systems, production planning tools, and data analytics.
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
Certifications in Lean, Six Sigma, or PMP are a plus.
Preferred Attributes:
Experience working in a multinational or American corporate environment.
Familiarity with compliance standards such as RoHS, REACH, and UL.
Ability to thrive in a dynamic, high-volume manufacturing setting.
