JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead the Engineering Department to support brand strategies and ensure product excellence:
Develop and deploy engineering strategies and best practices to support high-performance product development and brand KPIs in quality, delivery, margin, and sustainability.
Lead engineering and material development functions to ensure successful mass production readiness and alignment with brand objectives.
Manage cross-functional collaboration with development, commercialization, QA, and production teams to drive key long-term projects and digital transformation initiatives.
Coach and develop team members, build succession planning, and foster a culture of inclusivity and continuous improvement.
Oversee implementation of engineering initiatives and corrective actions to uphold product quality and technical standards.
Proactively explore new technologies, materials, and construction methods to enhance product competitiveness and innovation.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Degree: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Design, Textile Engineering, or relevant field.
Experience:
15+ years in the footwear industry, particularly in development, commercialization, production, or quality assurance.
10+ years of experience in people management.
Proven leadership skills with ability to drive results across global cross-functional teams.
Extensive knowledge of product constructions, materials, lifecycle calendars, and footwear manufacturing processes.
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and project management skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, PLM systems, and technical tools (e.g., calipers, hardness gauge).
Language: Fluent in English; Mandarin skills are a plus.
Location: Haiphong, Vietnam
Travel: Required to partner factories, suppliers, and international headquarters.
