JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage Availability
  • Ensure that the committed availability for infrastructure services, particularly those related to network and telecommunications, is met.
  • Process requests to confirm that new services or modifications adhere to the agreed-upon availability standards.
  • Take proactive measures to both maintain and enhance the availability and stability of network and telecommunications services.
  • Develop and continually update an operational plan for network and telecommunications services.
  • Resolve incidents connected to the network and telecommunications infrastructure.
  • Evaluate the impact of new change requests on service availability.
  • Participate in the Change Advisory Board (CAB) when necessary.
  • Maintain responsibility for monitoring the availability of network and telecommunications services, comparing actual performance to targets, and addressing any deficiencies.
  • Collaborate with other departments, particularly those responsible for security management and infrastructure and security monitoring centers.
  • Manage the operation and deployment of network technology solutions, encompassing LAN, WAN, Internet, Extranet, Wireless, Network Security, DC/DR.
  • Conduct routine assessments of the bank's network and telecommunications systems, and plan and implement corrective actions as required.
  • Operate, deploy, and maintain WAN connections member companies, and partners.
  • Oversee the operation, deployment, and maintenance of WAN, including network devices and internet connections to branches, transaction offices, ATMs, CDMs, LAN (DC, DR, and buildings), wireless networks, and the internet within company’s domain.
  • Supervise and manage network and telecommunications service quality from partners or suppliers and take responsibility for their services.
  • Continuously maintain, upgrade, and refine network and telecommunications equipment as needed in each phase.
  • Administer and deploy security solutions.
  • Maintain a daily operation checklist and report daily work results and quality.
Manage Productivity
  • Ensure resource allocation aligns with network and telecommunications services.
  • Make sure IT managers are informed of resource requirements and trends.
  • Submit resource requests for IT services as needed.
  • Maintain a comprehensive report on IT infrastructure and its performance.
  • Ensure resolution of incidents and issues related to infrastructure.
  • Evaluate the impact of change requests on infrastructure.
  • Be responsible for monitoring resource utilization levels and addressing any discrepancies.
Manage Change
  • Provide prompt evaluation of changes made that affect the infrastructure and services.
  • Keep in contact with relevant stakeholders in case issues arise and execute changes.
  • Revise operational guidelines if required.
  • Oversee the execution of change processes.
Manage Configuration
  • Assume responsibility for the regular evaluation of endpoint devices.
  • Take charge of standardization and the periodic upkeep of operating systems, software listings, and related versions.
Manage Service Quality
  • Collaborate with other departments to investigate, evaluate, troubleshoot, identify positive and negative trends, and propose corrective actions.
  • Ensure that in-depth analysis is conducted to identify the root causes of negative trends.
  • Examine and report on productivity trends and their correlation with IT issues.
  • Analyze the accumulated data.
Governance and strategic oversight
  • Establish the mission, vision, and innovative strategies for the network domain.
  • Develop a governance framework to establish and supervise effective controls for network infrastructure performance. Periodically identify potential issues and develop corresponding mitigation plans.
  • Provide a strategy, roadmap, and oversight for the entire life cycle of designing, developing, operating, and supporting IT systems.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • A bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, electrical/electronic engineering, information technology, telecommunications, or related computer fields.
  • Holding a master's degree in telecom or information systems is a valuable asset.
  • Expertise in Routing/Switching, WAF, Proxy, Reverse Proxy, SSL, Loadbalancer, ACI, SD WAN.
  • Certification in CCNP, CCIE, or an equivalent.
  • Additional experience or certification with Juniper, CheckPoint, F5, Fortigate, Citrix is beneficial.
  • Skills required:
  • Strong knowledge and experience in IT, electronic, and telecommunication.
  • Proficiency in Network Routing, Switching, Network Security (IPS, Firewall, NAC, VPN), Wireless.
  • Attention to detail, self-discipline, and the ability to maintain data security.
  • Proficiency in English, especially in reading and writing.
  • Capability to work both independently and as part of a team in a high-pressure environment.
  • Organizational skills ensuring timely, high-quality completion of IT-related tasks.
  • Effective problem-solving and incident resolution skills.
  • Process optimization skills, focusing on enhancing each process's efficiency.
  • Proven experience influencing key stakeholders in complex contexts.
  • Over three years of leadership experience encompassing strategy and budgeting.
  • Proficiency in influencing and negotiating within an environment where control over required resources may be limited.
  • Strong analytical, strategic, planning, and execution abilities.
  • Experience in establishing governance practices to monitor service quality and implement service improvement plans.
  • Strong third-party management skills involving collaboration with sourcing and vendor managers.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of translating technical concepts and technologies to business leaders and vice versa.
  • Over 8+ years of relevant experience in IT and telecommunications.
  • Preferred experience in Data Center/PoP/Central Office installations.
  • Familiarity with networking protocols such as DNS, DHCP, VPNs, WAN/LAN TCP/IP.
