JOB DESCRIPTION

Manage import, export, customs clearance, warehouse and transport operations to ensure all agreed procedures and KPIs are met

Conduct stock take to ensure inventory accuracy

Manages 3PL vendors performance including freight forwarder, customs broker, warehouse, and trans-porter, customs, to ensure all agreed KPIs are met

Ensure 3PL vendors meet Atotech requirements on HSE & Compliance through regular audits

Analyze gaps/failure in 3PL vendors and set up corrective and preventive actions

Monitor 3PL vendors invoices to ensure costs are billed correctly and timely.

Monitor the regulation changes and ensure regulatory compliance in all local aspects i.e. IMDG, IATA, road transport, customs, import/export licenses, labels, DG storage and waste disposal.

Initiate and verify cost saving programs such as trade privileges, shipment consolidation, route optimization and space optimization, etc.

Be a company representative to deal with government officials for import/export/customs compliance is-sue.

Share best practices and interacting with counterparts across the region and globally

Performs other duties, tasks and responsibilities as assigned or required
JOB REQUIREMENT

Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or any related fields

Minimum 5 years of experience in Logistics in chemical industry

Expertise in chemical cargo handling and understanding of IMDG, IATA, ADR, and other HAZMAT related requirements

Strong knowledge and understanding of local and international regulations related to chemicals

Knowledge of SAP logistic module and Office software
-
Good command of spoken and written communication skills in English and local language(s)

Self-motivated with high sense of urgency, resourcefulness, and adaptability

Ability to coordinate across functions and locations to ensure successful outcomes

Effective time management skills including sequencing of own work and resource time management

Decision making skills, e.g. quick thinking and confident in outcome
