JAC's client –A big brand with offices in the US, Europe, Japan and Vietnam is looking talent for the position of Import-Export Leader and Purchasing Support who oversees the day-to-day import-export and purchasing operational functions of a business.


JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Import-Export Department (manage 1 employee)
  • Support the Head of Department in monitoring day-to-day import-export operation.
  • Research and manage all forwarders in terms of services and ensure the service cost maintained at a competitive level on the market.
  • Report import-export process and calculate the potential cost fee, services and consult for the Head of Department.
  • Handling and providing the solution/ solving trouble related to customs clearance to ensure on-time delivery rating.
  • Make annual customs reports.
  • Update the law documents related to customs to consult with the Head of Department and Board of Manager.
  •  Monitor the import-export employees and instruct them with the working tasks.
  • Monthly report to the Head of Department about import-export process and related fees.
Purchasing Support (individual work)
  • Make and monitor the orders on the system, contact with suppliers about delivery, quality, price (specific group of goods or suppliers would be discussed).
  • Support working with related departments to solve the issues about quality, warehouses, delivery date, new product development and set of payment documents.
  • Regularly update the prices and the process of providing in in-charged group of goods.
  • Support buying group in some activities.
  • Other tasks assigned by the Head of Department.


JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • University/or higher in Import-Export and Purchasing. Especially experience in FMCG or packaging.
  • Nine or more years of experience in import-export field and two to three years in purchasing.
  • Ability to adapt to reinstructed environment with switching system, policies and different information sources.
  • Outstanding teamwork and individual skills, and experience working with staff on all levels from different departments.
  • Fluent in English.
