Job Responsibilities
- Collaborate with business teams to gather and define ERP requirements.
- Develop, maintain, and troubleshoot QAD customizations and reports (Progress 4GL).
- Provide tier-2/3 support for escalated business process or system issues.
- Lead small-scale ERP-related initiatives and improvement projects.
- Participate in system design reviews, testing, and documentation.
- Stay up to date on QAD updates, enhancements, and best practices.
- Train and mentor ERP users to maximize system usage.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience working with QAD ERP, especially in manufacturing environments.
- Proficient in Progress 4GL development, debugging, and customization.
- Familiar with QAD modules such as Financials, Distribution, Manufacturing, EMT, and EDI.
- Knowledge of QAD Adaptive UX, QAD Web Services, and integration tools like QXtend.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and project management skills.
- Basic knowledge of SQL, Java, or XML is a plus.
- Experience in multi-site ERP support and working with end users.
- Excellent communication in English; able to train and support users effectively.
