Responsibilities
Architect, develop, and maintain scalable, multi-region, multi-cloud compute infrastructure for our platform and critical services.
Collaborate cross-functionally to optimize infrastructure usage and solve complex problems—communication in English is essential.
Mentor junior engineers and promote engineering best practices across teams.
Shape long-term strategies for key systems and products.
Participate in on-call rotations, providing incident support and system monitoring.
Assist with onboarding new customers, addressing technical requirements, and responding to engineering queries.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
5+ years of programming experience in Golang, Rust, Java, or other statically typed compiled languages.
3+ years working with distributed, event-driven, cloud-based architectures.
Hands-on experience with Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes, networking, and cloud-native technologies in production environments.
Strong debugging skills, with the ability to troubleshoot distributed systems and automate tasks.
Proven experience designing and maintaining fault-tolerant, large-scale systems across multiple regions/clouds.
Proficient in English; Japanese is a plus.
Preferred
Familiarity with Kserve, Knative, or Istio.
Experience in ML Ops.
Prior work with Japanese clients or customers.
Background in automotive software or industry.
Exposure to high-security, high-reliability environments.
Knowledge of OTA, IoT, or automotive hardware.
