JAC's client – an international Construction Material company – is looking for talent for a QA/QC Director to join their team.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Managing and guaranteeing factory operations are carried out in accordance with the quality method and standards used by the Company Quality Management System, including bitumen handling, storage, and delivery, as well as the creation of manufactured goods.
In accordance with international standards and Standard Specifications issued by the Ministry of Transport in Vietnam, to train, audit, monitor, manage, and lead the laboratory with close control of procedures for quality control of all products: A/C 60/70, Polymer polymer-modified bitumen, bitumen emulsion, cold mix, industrial bitumen, and other specialty bituminous products.
Setting and/or upholding high standards for the laboratory's traceability, reliability, consistency, and accuracy in accordance with the company's quality policy and QMS.
Coordinating and communicating with the operations department in the event of quality problems, as well as carrying out and monitoring any necessary corrective measures.
Keeping a record of all documents in accordance with QMS regulations and examining and certifying test reports that lab technicians deliver.
Creating and keeping a thorough inventory of lab equipment, accessories, and personal protective equipment (PPEs)
Managing the use of chemicals and consumables in the lab; monitoring and reviewing lab/staff expenses; and keeping an eye on the implementation of CAPEX investments supplied by upper management.
establish and preserve positive working relationships with Vietnamese technical organizations and public bodies (external laboratories, universities, R&D centers, etc)
Preparing weekly/monthly/yearly reports.
Providing technical support to the Company's clients, vendors, and advisors if requested.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related engineering fields.
At least 5 years of working experience in QA/QC management level, with 3 years in the construction material industry.
Have a good knowledge of road construction techniques and construction materials.
Good command of spoken and written English.
