Foreign construction company is looking for Mechanical Engineer to work at their construction site in Khanh Hoa Province
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
The Mechanical Engineer ensures that successful outcome of the project shall be achieved throughout the project life with managing mechanical construction works at the project site.
- Ensure that all construction activities on the construction site are fully compliant with the project HSE Plan and the local HSE legislation and regulations in Vietnam
- Issue appropriate expenditure requests arising from mechanical group at the site office
- Resolve any problems regarding mechanical construction works and report to and/or consult with Mechanical Manager as required
- Discuss, develop, and update the mechanical construction programs for achieving all major project milestones
- Monitor and review the progress of mechanical construction works against the program in that the mechanical construction group can handover to E, I&C group complying with the construction programs without any unfavourable impacts to pre-commissioning activities.
- Monitor quality of welding work with reviewing welding work progress and NDT result regularly with cooperating with Welding/NDT Engineer.
- Witness Critical Lift work at site so that Critical Lift work is carried out as per lifting plan prepared in advance under Lifting Work Permit.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's degree with five years of working experience in mechanical or electrical engineering, construction management, or other related discipline required
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Enough experience and knowledge of lifting work
- Fluent in English.
