JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage Availability

• Ensure infrastructure services meet committed availability standards and resolve related incidents.
• Assess the impact of new change requests on availability.
• Maintain service quality for services and enhance infrastructure stability and availability.
• Collaborate with other departments.
• Monitor infrastructure service availability, compare it to targets, and address issues.
• Perform periodic infrastructure checks and managing supplier relationships.
• Implement and manage technology solutions for infrastructure.
• Keep ongoing operational plans for infrastructure services and upgrade or refine equipment as needed.
• Maintain a daily operational checklist and report daily work outcomes and quality.

Manage Assets

• Ensure consistency in asset naming conventions.
• Validate that system information is aligned with changing requirements.
• Maintain accurate records of assets, including various details like equipment and IP addresses, as well as relevant contractual and warranty information.
• Manage system profiles and related operational procedures according to standard practices.

Manage Productivity

• Ensure the appropriate allocation of resources for the service system.
• Promote awareness among IT managers regarding resource utilization and its growth patterns.
• Provide resource requisitions for newly introduced or updated IT services.
• Maintain an overall report that focuses on the productivity of IT infrastructure and its evolving trends.
• Ensure rigorous productivity assessments are carried out prior to service deployment.
• Actively work on improving the efficiency of IT resource utilization.
• Establish and maintain a resource utilization plan.
• Resolve incidents and issues associated with productivity promptly.
• Evaluate the potential impact of change requests on productivity.
• Oversee resource utilization level.

Manage change

• Provide timely evaluations of changes affecting infrastructure and services.
• Maintain communication with relevant stakeholders in case problems arise.
• Revise operational guidelines as needed.
• Vigilantly oversee the process of implementing changes.
• Ensure that change status is current.
• Assume the responsibility for standardizing server infrastructure design.

Manage Configuration

• Assume responsibility for equipment standards in each time frame.
• Oversee the standardization and periodic maintenance of operating system standards.
• Manage, maintain, and update the system.
• Ensure the backup of server configurations is maintained.

Manage Events

• Assume responsibility for the management and monitoring of both the infrastructure and all IT application systems.
• Ensure the oversight of all infrastructure and IT services.
• Manage the incident lifecycle for IT.
• Ensure that timely troubleshooting is conducted.

Manage Service Quality

• Manage and uphold IT services.
• Collaborate with other departments to investigate, evaluate, troubleshoot, and devise corrective actions.
• Ensure that comprehensive analysis is conducted to pinpoint the root causes of unfavorable trends.
• Ensure that IT services adhere to committed SLAs.
• Examine and report on productivity trends and their repercussions resulting from IT issues.
• Analyze the compiled data.

Human Resources Management

• Proactively allocate resources to assist in daily operations and projects.
• Furnish the staffing requirements and an operational plan.
• Oversee and uphold the internal IT operation.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• A Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or related field, or an equivalent work background.
• Preferably holds an MCSA certification or ACSP/ACTC certification.
• Profound expertise in Windows Server and Mac OS X Server products.
• In-depth knowledge of Exchange and SMTP.
• A comprehensive understanding of directory services, encompassing Active Directory and Open Directory.
• Expertise in operating systems such as Windows Server, AIX, Linux, VMware, and platform services.
• Proficiency in related areas such as networking, security, and databases.
• Mastery of server products.
• Familiarity with DC-DR infrastructure.
• Demonstrated leadership skills in managing highly technical teams.
• Excellent written communication skills, both in business and technical report writing.
• Proficiency in English.
• Vast experience in all facets of operating platform administration and leading vendor solutions, including infrastructure management.
• A wealth of experience in troubleshooting and resolving operational platform issues during regular operations.
• Comprehensive experience with operational platform portfolios.
