General Accountant

1. Qualifications & Requirements

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.

Experience

• At least 8 years of experience in accounting/finance.
• Strong knowledge of Vietnamese tax regulations and accounting standards.
• Priority given to candidates with:
  • Experience as a Chief Accountant.
  • Chief Accountant Certificate.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills in English (required).
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Honest, careful, proactive, and responsible.

2. Job Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements.
• Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities.
• Review monthly adjusting journal entries.
• Assist with internal and external audits.
• Support tax audits, tax returns, and other tax-related matters.
• Ensure compliance with accounting principles and internal controls.
• Produce budgets according to schedule.
• Conduct trend analysis and budget vs. actual performance analysis.
• Assist with monthly and quarterly reporting packages.
• Recommend and implement process improvements within the accounting function.
• Prepare special reports and perform ad‑hoc financial analyses when required.
• Develop and document accounting policies and business processes.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
