Chief Accountant

Our Client is a leading Japanese manufacturer of electronic component products worldwide as well as a supplier to the automotive industry.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage and evaluate the work performance of accounting department staff. Control the process of performing accounting operations to ensure the accuracy of accounting documents.
• Organize and build the company's accounting system in accordance with regulations, accounting standards and provisions of law and the company.
• Manage and check the accounting system, accounting books, invoices - documents.
• Receive, check, compare and balance data. Detect errors, guide employees on how to handle, adjust, and propose countermeasures to avoid errors and complete documents.
• Provide professional guidance and forms to other departments.
• Check monthly cash flow summary and payment plan, approve payment orders.
• Monitor and check the preparation of financial reports and associated transactions, tax finalization declarations.
• Prepare management reports as required by the board of directors and headquarters.
• Analyze the company's financial situation to find the company's strengths and weaknesses.
• Make plans and financial strategies for the company at each specific time.
• Represent the company in dealing with tax authorities and banks to carry out procedures related to finance and accounting.
• Report and advise the board of directors on the company's financial situation. At the same time, propose new strategies.
• Perform other tasks directed by the Board of Directors.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Graduated from university or higher majoring in Finance - Accounting/Auditing.
• Have a Chief accountant degree and other related qualifications.
• Have experience in the financial field and 5 years of experience as a financial director or equivalent position in large companies and corporations.
• Proficient in speaking and writing English or Japanese.
• Proficient in office information technology, accounting software (SAP, FAST...).
• Communication and problem-solving skills.
• Skills in dealing with audits and tax authorities.
• In-depth understanding of tax regulations for businesses, legal systems in business, and financial markets.
• A person with the ability to synthesize, analyze and make financial plans/decisions.
• Can withstand work pressure.
• Have leadership ability, honesty, decisiveness and carefulness.
