COMPANY OVERVIEW
Our client is looking for the Buyer (Food) position.
Expected to start work in February 2026
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Developing and coordinating with domestic and overseas manufacturers, Also working on package design considerations
Gathering information: Collect trend information from the internet, magazines, trade papers, and newspapers.
Developing and selecting manufacturers: When developing new products, we may ask manufacturers with whom we already have business or we may develop new ones.
Business talks and negotiations: We inform food manufacturers of the specifications and image of the products we want to develop, and then work out the details, such as price and taste. Based on data and analysis of sales and purchases, we conduct business negotiations (currently online) with manufacturers, and ask them to submit samples and quotations.
Internal presentation: We create materials that convey the appeal of new products and present them to higher-ups in the company. There is a basic form for the materials to be created, but let's devise how to show it by ourselves.
Start manufacturing: When the company approves, we make a contract with the manufacturer and start manufacturing. We proceed while coordinating with the manufacturer and factory to suit Japanese tastes.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Around 3~ years of experience developing, purchasing, buyer and selecting manufacturers in FOOD
Always interested in trends and hot selling products (regardless of genre, such as drug stores and convenience stores)
- Wish to take on the challenge of buying overseas products or large scale purchases
Interested in product planning, in Japanese culture
Good presentation skill
Language: Proficiency in English languages at a business level. (Japanese Language Proficiency Test N3 or higher is plus, not must)
BENEFITS
Location: District 1, HCMC
Working time: 8:30am to 17:30pm, Monday~ Friday ( 2 Days per week, (Saturday, Sunday, and holidays)
Paid leave based on Vietnam's labor laws.
Salary: Up to 1200$
*100% of your salary will be paid during the trial period.
Bonus: Twice a year (January and July), Total of 3 months wage including Tet Bonus.
There are social insurance, health insurance, unemployment insurance and other regimes according to Labor law.
