JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Manage customer on a day to day basis and ensure to meet the business development targets successfully
  • Maintain and develop business relationship with key customers
  • Promote, educate, train and assists our end users customers on the correct way to use our products
  • Provide and recommend strategic development of the assigned Business Unit in key accounts
  • Work closely with the channel partner’s field sales personnel ensuring that the objective of a particular account is achieved
  • Help to develop and manage customers hospitals contract or project vis a vis with our Distributors
  • Work with sales and marketing management to develop and manage tactical and strategic sales plans to penetrate key accounts
  • Seek new opportunities and drive continuous improvement for coordination and management of existing business
  • Create and maintain long term business relationships at the senior level within customer base
  • Evaluate territory performance against established objectives/guidelines (sales forecast, budget, number of new accounts, etc and take appropriate action to continuously improve performance
  • Drive proactive customer communication by conducting and leading internal/external business reviews with customer base
  • This includes product rationalization as and when required and input on current strategies for existing products
  • Developing, identifying new products/services that meet the need of an identified new or existing market sector or channel
  • Monitor publications and announcements from customer base and target customers, channeling information to management
  • Participate in weekly sales meeting to include budget, sales, profit and forecast
  • Coordinate efforts with Sales, Marketing, Senior Management resources as needed
  • Set up/Attend Regional, National and/or Global trade shows, consult industry directories, and travel to develop new and existing customer leads
  • Keep management abreast of market conditions, product performance and make recommendations for future growth potential such as acquisitions, new market strategies, new product development based on market trends, etc
  • Manage expenses within specified budget and company policy guidelines.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Experience
  • Minimum 3-5 years of sales and/marketing experience in medical devices
  • Clinical background and exposure especially in catheterization laboratory is a must
  • Effective management and/knowledge of selling process
  • Experience leading a business unit/ function in meeting sales and financial objectives
  • Implemented market development strategies, especially in emerging markets
  • Implemented and executed tactical marketing plans (e g new product launches, programs, messaging)
  • Strong KOL management
Knowledge
  • A degree in nursing or health science background
  • Awareness of external environment i e customers, competitors, government healthcare policies etc
  • Understanding of distributor 4 PL business model
  • Able to grasp hold of financial concepts, budgeting, sales and demand forecasting
