Job Description


  • Develop company strategy and business plan
    • Fully understand and grasp the value, mission, vision and strategy of the organization
    • Actively participate in Asia - pacific subsidiary/branch strategy development
    • Take the lead in assessment and fomulation of Vietnam branch marketing strategy
    • Lead the formulation and disintergration of annual sales targets and overall workplan
  • Market research
    • In line with the business development and management requirements of the central Marketing strategy department, carry out market research and analysis, form in-depth understanding of local industry, market, customers and competitors
    • Output market research report to ensure the effective formulation of marketing strategies and business plans
  • Marketing and brand building
    • In line with the company's development plan, lead drafting and implementation of localized business plans
    • Be responsible for the sales work in local country for the products 1) HV composite substation insulators, OIP transformer bushings, rubber seals, LV insulators, which sourced by OEM 2) carry out promotion work to improve the market share of substation insulators and transformer bushing from the side utilities 3) explore opportunities of the products which sourced by the end-users directly, like the line composite insulators, post insulatos, cross arm for T&D, anti-flashover solution etc... by the possible channels
  • Customer segment
    • Clarify the decision making chain of the relevant gorvernment, industry organizations and target customers and the corresponding personnel
    • Support the team in customers' development and value transfer, particularly to be responsible for building good relationships with the key customer decision makers and their maintenance
    • Organize and manage customer related documents and information
    • Take the lead to solve major customer complaints and maintain customer satisfaction
  • Pipeline management and undertake sales targets
    • Oversee and follow up the progress of leads - bussiness opportunities - orders - payments collection. Work closely with other departments internally to ensure achievement of sales and payment collections objectives.
    • According to specific business opportunites and customer requirements, put forward solutions, i.e. whether or not form a consortium for bidding
    • Participate in bidding strategy discussions, and subsequently execute related meeting actions and decisions
  • Operations management
    • Participate in the Leads to Cash (LTC) process development and make suggestions for improvement according to the on the ground operations
    • According to the group management framework and the business development needs, to develop and improve the marketing related processes, systems and mechanisms to adapt to local conditions
  • Budget management
    • According to the Department's work plan, forecast the required funding and expenditures, finalise budgets, and ensure management of the sales expenses on a monthly basis according to the target


  • Over 12 years of experience (at least 5 years of similiar director or senior executive management position) in energy sector, OEM companies, utilites, or EPC companies.
  • Knowledge of Vietnam utility sector - EVN
  • Knowledge of local end users
  • Understand of Vietnam business culture, laws, regulations and policies
  • Knowledge of Marketing methodology
  • Knowledge of corporate finance and HR
  • Effective English communication
