JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Crafting, maintaining, and enhancing Python codebase for improved efficiency and reliability.
- Building and managing Django-based applications and web services to meet project requirements.
- Designing and overseeing database schemas, tables, and relationships to ensure optimal performance.
- Optimizing and resolving database queries, with a preference for leveraging Django ORM.
- Creating RESTful APIs to facilitate frontend operations and functionalities.
- Collaborating closely with frontend counterparts to integrate server-side logic seamlessly.
- Engaging with cross-functional teams to conceptualize, design, and deploy new features.
- Ensuring smooth integration of frontend and backend components by collaborating with team members.
- Developing unit tests to validate code stability and ease of maintenance.
- Conducting comprehensive code reviews to uphold coding standards and best practices.
- Implementing robust security measures to safeguard data integrity and confidentiality.
- Identifying and addressing performance bottlenecks to optimize system efficiency and responsiveness.
- 3-5+ Years of professional experience.
- Demonstrated proficiency as a Python/Django Backend Developer.
- Expertise in Django ORM, Django REST framework, and related technologies.
- Practical experience with relational databases, especially PostgreSQL.
- Familiarity with front-end technologies like HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Proficient use of code versioning tools such as Git.
- Understanding of software design patterns and industry best practices.
- Strong problem-solving skills combined with effective communication abilities.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a relevant field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools like Docker.
- Experience with AWS services like S3 and SQS.
- Proficiency in leveraging Celery for efficient task queue management.
