A Foreign investment company is looking for an Accounting Associate (full-time remote) to join and support in investigating potential investment opportunities in Vietnam.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Bookkeeping for management company, advisory entities and the holding company.
- Receive, review, refute or confirm expenses for research, company expenses, employee, fund expenses
- Create payments for all confirmed expenses.
- Assist COO to answer the company’s auditor questions.
- Assist compliance to answer annual regulatory reviews.
- Learn the financial rules from Securities and Futures Commission (SFC) and apply them to company clients as appropriate.
- For those with financial services experience:
- Complete monthly Net Asset Value reconciliation for fund(s)
- Assist in recalculating Fund fees.
- Engage with Fund Administrator to resolve questions.
- Participate in annual review of Fund Administrator with compliance team
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor of accounting (or the equivalent)
- Experience with US GAAP or IFRS
- Experience with bookkeeping/audit for corporate service company or a financial services company (+2 years minimum)
- Advanced English (minimum: IELTS 6.5 / TOEIC 945 / TOEFL iBT 90, or equivalent)
- CPA (or its equivalent) preferred but not required.
