The Software Engineering Manager role offers an opportunity to lead an in-house engineering team and support the product development strategy of a Japan-based real estate company in Binh Duong. The position combines team leadership, technical architecture, product transition, workflow optimisation, and artificial intelligence (AI)-assisted software development.
Responsibilities
Lead and develop the in-house software engineering team, including recruitment, coaching, task allocation, and performance management
Manage the transition of products from external vendors to internal teams, ensuring smooth operations and continuous improvement
Define technical architecture, select appropriate technologies, and maintain code quality standards
Plan and track sprints, optimise development workflows, and improve team productivity
Promote AI-assisted development and align development activities with stakeholders
Support additional projects as required
Requirements
At least 5 years of relevant experience with proven team management capabilities
Strong technical background in React Native, Vue, Nuxt, and Java Spring Boot
Good working proficiency in English or Japanese for business communication
Demonstrated experience in team building and optimising development processes
Hands-on experience with AI-assisted development tools, such as Copilot or Cursor
