The Senior Technical Manager role offers an opportunity for an experienced technology leader to shape Artificial Intelligence (AI) strategy and transform advanced technologies into intelligent products that enhance recruitment experiences. The position works across product, engineering, and global teams while leading the development of scalable, reliable, and responsible AI capabilities.
Responsibilities
Define and execute the AI technical roadmap in alignment with product and business objectives, translating business requirements into scalable AI solutions
Design and deliver AI-powered capabilities, including CV parsing, job and candidate matching, semantic search, recommendation systems, AI assistants, and document intelligence
Provide hands-on technical leadership through solution architecture, technical design, code reviews, and the prototyping of complex AI solutions when required
Build and optimise AI solutions using Large Language Models (LLMs), Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), Document AI, Optical Character Recognition (OCR), Intelligent Document Processing, vector databases, and Machine Learning Operations (MLOps)
Continuously improve model quality, performance, latency, and operational costs
Ensure AI solutions are scalable, reliable, secure, and aligned with responsible AI and data privacy practices
Collaborate with product managers, engineering teams, global teams, and headquarters to align AI strategy, technical direction, architecture, and project delivery
Report project progress, technical risks, and strategic recommendations while contributing to the development of AI engineering capabilities
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Software Engineering, or a related field
At least 7 years of software engineering experience, including significant experience leading AI or machine learning initiatives and technical projects
Proven experience delivering AI-powered products or features into production with measurable business impact
Strong expertise in LLMs, RAG, Document AI, OCR, Intelligent Document Processing, semantic search, vector databases, and MLOps
Experience with Python, PyTorch or TensorFlow, Hugging Face, LangChain or similar frameworks, Docker, Kubernetes, and Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD)
Experience with cloud platforms such as Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform
Solid understanding of software architecture, distributed systems, and modern application development
Strong analytical thinking, technical leadership, and problem-solving skills
Excellent spoken and written English communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with global teams and headquarters
