Department: Compliance and legal department
Title: Senior Clerk
(Title will be adjusted upon relevant professional experience)
Main tasks:
· To deal with legislation and regulatory changes from local authorities by timely update and report to supervisor and Management;
· To prepare legal note and conduct legal research;
· To support other department operation by providing legal advices and coordinating with related counterparties in handling legal / compliance issues;
· To be responsible for the compliance action program regarding (i) legal/compliance checks and (ii) training to all staffs on legal / compliance issues;
Requirements:
· Bachelor holder in law;
· Being attorney at law is an advantage;
· Experience of working in banking sector or in a law firm is an advantage;
· Fluent English in writing and speaking, Japanese language is an advantage;
· Excellent communication and reporting skills;
· Good sense of responsibility, initiative, carefulness, patience and hard-working; Ability to work independently and in a team under high pressure.
