Company and Job Overview
JAC's client, a consulting firm specializing in accounting, tax, and business advisory services, is looking for a Senior Accounting Service Manager position.
Job Responsibilities
1. Service and Professional Management

  • Directly oversee and manage assignments for selected clients, especially key clients and clients with highly complex requirements, ensuring service quality, including performing detailed review procedures when necessary.

  • Take responsibility for the quality, progress, and effectiveness of accounting and tax services provided to all clients.

  • Ensure the timely and compliant preparation and submission of financial statements, tax reports, management reports, and other compliance-related documents in accordance with regulations and commitments made to clients.

  • Review issues arising during service delivery; assess risks, identify root causes, and propose appropriate solutions.

  • Establish consistent professional approaches for technical matters and coordinate with other teams within the company.

  • Participate in and lead teams in conducting Due Diligence, Internal Audit, Post

  • Merger Integration projects, and other similar engagements beyond conventional accounting and tax services.

  • Support and guide Managers in handling complex accounting and tax matters.

2. Client Management and Business Operations

  • Maintain and develop client relationships while ensuring client satisfaction and service quality.

  • Effectively manage service contracts, departmental resources, and productivity.

  • Participate in and share responsibility with the Board of Directors (BOD) for budget planning and implementation to achieve targets related to Revenue, Gross Profit (GP), Operating Profit (OP), and other business objectives.

  • Coordinate with the BOD in planning, budgeting, and implementing operational improvement initiatives.

3. People Management and Development

  • Manage, mentor, and develop Managers, Senior Consultants, Consultants, and Junior Consultants.

  • Set objectives, evaluate performance, and support employees’ career development.

  • Proactively build a succession pipeline and enhance the management and professional capabilities of leadership levels.

Allocate resources effectively, resolve performance issues and conflicts, and maintain team stability.
4. Training and Capability Development

  • Proactively keep updated on new accounting, tax, and related legal regulations.

  • Develop professional training plans for the Ho Chi Minh City office and collaborate with the Hanoi team to create company-wide training programs and share practical cases to enhance professional capabilities across the organization.

  • Promote a culture of learning and knowledge sharing within the department.

5. Collaboration and Operational Improvement

  • Represent the Accounting Team in coordinating with other departments to align processes and working principles.

  • Propose process improvements to enhance service quality and operational efficiency.

  • Participate in developing, standardizing, and improving service procedures and risk control practices during service delivery.

6. Strategic Development

  • Recommend solutions to improve service quality and strengthen the company’s competitiveness.

  • Monitor market trends and stay updated on changes in accounting and tax policies as well as client needs.

  • Participate in professional seminars and forums; propose ideas for service development, process enhancement, and workforce development.

  • Participate in developing and proposing new services that can be delivered using the company’s existing resources.

  • Support the Board of Directors in formulating the strategic direction of accounting service development.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Auditing, Finance, or related fields.
    Minimum 15 years of experience in accounting and tax, including at least 5 years in a managerial position.

  • Experience managing outsourced accounting services; candidates with experience in international consulting firms or Japanese companies are preferred.

  • Strong understanding of Vietnamese accounting, tax, and corporate regulations.
    Proven leadership, team management, staff development, and client management skills.

  • Good English communication and working proficiency; Japanese language skills are an advantage.

  • Professional qualifications such as Vietnam CPA, ACCA, CPTA, or equivalent are preferred.

  • Strategic mindset, proactive attitude, strong sense of responsibility, and the ability to work under pressure.
