JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Conduct both functional and system-level testing on broadband networking devices.
Assist in implementing automated testing using tools like Python, Robot Framework, or Shell scripts.
Work closely with firmware and software teams to replicate and resolve technical issues.
Examine logs and network packet data to identify root causes and document defects clearly.
Utilize diagnostic tools such as Ping, Tcpdump, and Wireshark to troubleshoot and analyze issues.
Perform testing related to system performance, reliability, and interoperability.
Create and implement detailed test plans, including test cases and regression testing scenarios
JOB REQUIREMENTS
1+ years of experience in networking, telecom, broadband systems, or product validation.
Basic knowledge of networking fundamentals such as TCP/IP, routing, and switching.
Familiarity with network troubleshooting tools
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within cross-functional teams.
Good command of English, both written and spoken.
A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics & Telecommunications, or a related discipline.
Experience with bug-tracking platforms such as JIRA, Redmine, or similar tools is an advantage.
Knowledge of networking devices and protocols such as routers, access points, gateways, ONU, broadband CPE, TR-069, or TR-369 is an advantage.
