The Middle Associate role offers an opportunity to manage complex legal matters and contribute to M&A transactions across a diverse range of industries. Based onsite in Ho Chi Minh City, the position involves legal research, contract drafting, client representation, and the development of junior team members within an international legal practice.
Responsibilities
Provide legal support for M&A transactions across industries including consumer goods, processing and manufacturing, services, pharmaceuticals, banking and finance, energy, real estate and construction, and project finance
Conduct research on laws, regulations, and relevant legal developments
Draft and review contracts, complex legal advice, and other legal documents
Represent clients in negotiations with relevant parties and handle administrative procedures with government authorities
Prepare newsletters and develop presentation materials for seminars
Provide support to other members of the legal team as required
Perform additional tasks assigned by senior associates
Mentor, coach, and train junior team members
Requirements
Degree in Law from a university in Vietnam, preferably from a top-tier university
At least 7 years of relevant professional experience
Valid practising licence
Strong experience in M&A transactions across diverse industries
Strong written and spoken English communication skills
Ability and willingness to support the professional development of junior team members
