The Financial Advisory Service Staff role provides Japanese and Vietnamese language support across a range of financial, tax, accounting, and advisory services. Based in Ho Chi Minh City, the position offers an opportunity for fresh graduates and early-career professionals to develop practical consulting experience while supporting communication between clients and internal colleagues.
Responsibilities
Support communication between Japanese-speaking clients and Vietnamese-speaking colleagues in Japanese and Vietnamese across the following service areas:
Financial and tax due diligence
Post-merger integration
International Financial Reporting Standards advisory
Internal control advisory and internal audit
Transfer pricing documentation
Vietnamese tax advisory covering personal income tax, corporate income tax, value-added tax, and related areas
Respond to client enquiries under consulting service contracts
Translate reports from English or Vietnamese into Japanese
Provide Japanese and Vietnamese interpretation during client meetings
Requirements
Japanese proficiency at JLPT N2 level or above
An accounting or tax-related qualification gained through one of the following:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Tax, or a related field
Japanese bookkeeping qualification at 簿記3級以上
Another relevant certificate
No previous professional experience is required; fresh graduates are encouraged to apply
Good knowledge of Vietnamese accounting standards and tax regulations would be an advantage
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Knowledge of VBA, Excel, and PowerPoint would be an advantage
Team-oriented, proactive, diligent, dedicated, and eager to learn
