The Chief Accountant role is a key position supporting the establishment and operation of a new manufacturing facility at VSIP 3 Industrial Park in Bình Dương. The position covers supplier coordination, payment operations, financial reporting enquiries, cost accounting, cost control, and inventory management within a factory environment.
Responsibilities
Vendor & External Coordination
Handle issues and enquiries relating to supplier invoices
Coordinate annual balance confirmations with suppliers and issue TDS certificates as required
Work with UJA on documentation relating to TPA investigation matters
Payment & Finance Operations
Manage international remittances and outgoing payments in coordination with the direct supervisor
Headquarters & Parent Company Coordination
Respond to ad hoc enquiries from headquarters
Handle accounting-related enquiries from the parent company, including questions concerning financial closing results
Manufacturing Support
Support cost accounting, cost control, and inventory management within the manufacturing environment
Requirements
Accounting-related qualification or professional certification
At least 5 years of factory accounting experience
Experience working in a Japan-based business environment
Strong understanding of financial statements, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements
Understanding of standard costing within a manufacturing or factory environment
Strong English communication skills
Japanese language proficiency at JLPT N3–N2 level will be an advantage
