Bridge Software Engineer

A company in the document solutions and business technology industry is hiring for a Bridge Software Engineer (Japanese, UI-UX, Onsite) position.

Job Description

• Analyze and understand requirements from the Japan team, and support the Vietnam development team in requirement clarification, explanation, and Q&A handling.

• Coordinate communication between teams in Vietnam and Japan to ensure smooth project execution and effective collaboration.

• Monitor project progress and provide timely updates and reports to stakeholders.

• Perform testing activities in relevant development and operational environments.

• Investigate issues, identify root causes, and coordinate with appropriate teams to resolve problems efficiently.

• Support the development and maintenance of software related to multifunction devices and associated solutions.

• Be prepared to work and collaborate with overseas teams, including potential long-term assignments in Japan when required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Bridge Software Engineer or in a similar role involving coordination between offshore and onsite teams.

• Experience working in a Japanese business environment or collaborating with Japanese clients or projects is highly preferred.

• Japanese language proficiency at N2 level or above.

• Intermediate English communication skills, including speaking, listening, reading, and writing.

• Strong communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.

• High level of ownership, accountability, and proactive problem-solving ability.

• Willingness and ability to work long-term in Japan when required.

• Basic knowledge of JavaScript or C++ is advantageous.

• Relevant technical certifications are a plus.
