The Assistant Warehouse Manager role supports day-to-day warehouse operations, with responsibility for timely inbound and outbound shipments, accurate inventory control, and operational reporting. The position also contributes to the effective handling of fruit products within a temperature-controlled warehouse environment.
Responsibilities
Support warehouse operations to ensure inbound and outbound shipments are completed on time
Monitor inventory movements and maintain accurate records of stock quantities, product types, and conditions
Conduct scheduled inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies
Lead, train, and supervise warehouse personnel
Prepare and submit daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly operational reports
Carry out operational assignments directed by the Japanese-speaking manager
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field
Fluency in spoken and written English or Japanese
At least 5 years of experience in a similar position will be an advantage
Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems and inventory control
Familiarity with safety regulations and equipment maintenance practices
Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and work shifts
Experience in a Japanese business environment is an advantage
